Grassroots to Academy Pathway (Brighton & Hove Albion FC) – U8’s
Following six months within the PERFORM Football development programme, Tommy progressed into Brighton & Hove Albion’s elite pathway environment.
As a parent, I had no idea where to turn for high-quality coaching for my son or how to access opportunities that others seemed to be getting. As parents, it’s a minefield with different academies and “elite centres” promising various things at a price.
Chris from PERFORM Football took my 8-year-old son into his development sessions. The progress was incredible. This led to him playing for PERFORM Football against a Premier League elite centre and ultimately being noticed.Chris guided us through the process with excellent feedback and clear progression planning, which has now resulted in my son being selected for the elite centre he once played against.
Chris has delivered on absolutely everything he said he would. His coaching has been first class and he has provided my son with opportunities beyond what we could have expected. It was then down to my son to take them, which he did, but only because of how well prepared he was.
